Best Diet for Bodybuilders |
Recently I've noticed that in all magazines concerning health and bodybuilding experts tell that during a single ingestion course only 30 grammes of protein assimilate. As for me, I can say with confidence that it's not necesserily so. First, this number may vary from 20 to 50 grammes, that is only during your low-intensity activity such as “warming-up” and “brisk walking” your organism assimilates approximately 30 grammes. How much proteins an organism can assimilate depends on numerous factors, for example, whether a person has a good night's sleep or not, or what food he or she eats in combination with proteins, etc. It is necessary to suppose that a person, who regularly consumes protein products, will assimilate proteins better since his or her organism adapt.
Generally, lately I've begun taking proteins after main meals. For example, swallow a piece of beef and take proteins with it. And there's my question... How long does it take for our organism to digest white chicken meat or a piece of beef eaten for lunch? - The answer is 2-3 hours. All that period of time your organism will be waiting for proteins (or slowly assimilating them}. Almost all experts advise to take protein between main meals. I can't say, that the best variant. As far as I know, two hours after your lunch, meat will be digested and satiate your blood with amino acids. That is why you'd better take proteins 30-60 minutes before meal-time or while eating. As for me, I don't have any fixed diet (I eat whenever I want to), that's why I simply take proteins while eating.
As for general amount of proteins for 24 hours, you shouldn't be bothered with this hassle. The sufficient amount is 1.5-2 grammes for 1 kilogramme of body mass. It is also important to remember about such a rich source of proteins as casein and whey which are natural dairy products containing a huge amount of biologically active milk peptides which maintain immune system and also muscle building. As far as I know, it is better to take casein before going to bed or throughout the day. Most bodybuilders and athletes do it in such a way. Bodybuilders know that it's very important to take meals often and that the main muscle rehabilitainn and development take place while resting and sleeping. So it is really important to develop your own shedule of protein consumption according to your needs and organism peculiarities. |
